COVID-19 Guidelines

Your safety and our staff’s is our first priority, so when you visit us again, be assured that all necessary health and safety measures are in place to minimise the spread of Covid-19 and keep you and your loved ones safe.

During those unprecedented times we had reviewed our hotel operations: Extensive health and safety guidelines have been prepared and implemented and our teams have been trained, so we can welcome you back in a safe environment.

If you are experiencing any symptoms prior your arrival, we kindly ask you to contact us to postpone your stay. This include:

  • a new continuous cough.
  • a high temperature.
  • a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia)

During these special times we will endeavour to be as flexible as possible regarding amendments and cancellations.


We have set up a mobile guest check-in. Prior your arrival, a contactless “Guest-Check-in” will be available through your mobile devices. This allows guests to avoid creating grouping at reception areas. You will also be able to interact with us using the app and services Feature such as ordering In-Room items like Champagne, flowers, send requests to Housekeeping – e.g. extra pillows, sheet and blankets ect.

Hand sanitising stations will be provided at all hotel entrances and in reception areas for you to use. We kindly ask you use these before entering the hotels.

We have added Perspex screens to our reception office, so we can all keep our distance. If you have any questions or need assistance during your stay simply dial 200 from the phone in your room. Please note we have thermometers at reception should you feel concerned at any point during your stay.

During your stay

Please let us know if you would prefer that we do not service your room during your stay.

We no longer have a breakfast buffet but serve a full menu from the kitchen. This will take a little longer so please bear with us and avoid all coming in to breakfast together. We have spaced the tables out more in the dining areas and need to spread the booking times so that everyone is not eating at the same time. Please understand that you may not all be able to eat at exactly the time you prefer, and that booking way in advance is the best way to secure the most popular times.

Following the recent government announcement, The Pump bar, the Bistro and Aquitania restaurant will close at 10.00 pm from Thursday 24th of September until further notice. Hotel residents will be able to order drinks to be taken to their rooms until 11.00pm

Please also note that we will only be accepting debit and credit cards to avoid the handling of cash. Our check-in time remains the same, from 3.00 pm.

We have put in place floor signage out to ensure social distancing of a minimum of 2 meters can be maintained at all times.

We have been advised against handling your luggage or belongings, or showing you around the hotel or to your room as we usually do. We are however happy to help you, provided that the required distance apart between staff and guests whilst collecting luggage is respected. Alternatively, luggage with tags can be dropped by the reception and brought to your room: staff will knock on the door, step back and leave the luggage at the door. After handling luggage, staff should wash their hands or use a hand sanitiser afterwards.

If you have any special requirement please let us know prior your arrival so we can make the necessary preparations with everybody’s safety in mind.

All surfaces, screens, door handles and equipment will be regularly cleaned and sanitised throughout the day.

In line with government guidance, it is mandatory to wear a face covering when moving around our hotel public spaces. Your face covering can be removed when seated in our public spaces, dining, when in your bedroom and when using our outdoor spaces.


You can also check-out through the app, allowing you to view and pay your room bills, adding a card of your choice or using the pre-added card upon check-in. All completed through a secure payment gateway. Please also note that we will only be accepting debit and credit cards to avoid the handling of cash.

If you are planning on checking out between 7.00 am and 8.00 am please let the reception team know by calling 200 from your room phone.

We recommend you to use the hand sanitisers before leaving the hotel.

Our staff

All of our hotel teams have undergone comprehensive hospitality-focused training on how to prevent the contagion of Covid-19.

All staff will be asked to wash their hands immediately before leaving home and immediately when arriving at work. Additionally, all staff will be temperature checked upon arrival for work, and will be required to self-certify that they have not been in contact with anyone with Covid-19 symptoms.

Any staff member who shows symptoms will be immediately sent home and will be required to self-isolate for 14 days prior to returning to work.

Internal regulations have been introduced that require our staff to wear the appropriate PPE during their shifts and to wash and sanitize their hands frequently.

Please note that the reception will now be open from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm, there will be however a Duty Manager present until 11 pm and then a Night Manager from 11.00 pm to 7.00 am.
