| What can we say? Everything was perfect as it always is, which is why we consider the Seaview to be our No 1 hotel in the country! Many thanks to you all and well see you again as soon as is possible. Thank you also for looking after our elderly fellow travellers on their first visit and upgrading them to the Methuen. Everyone was most helpful and friendly from reception to kitchen staff, restaurant (especially Mrs Cooper in restaurant) all the most keen to please. From the start of booking the room (over the phone) to arriving, dinner, breakfast, etc has been perfect. Your staff are all super friendly and helpful, something I am not used to living in London. The children loved the cuddy toys - totally unexpected but really nice. You staff provided milk for my small daughter and extra biscuits. Needless to say we will be back. Our first visit was over 30 years ago and generally the ambiance has not changed. My husband particularly enjoys a pint in the back bar a curtail component of a hotel like this and in fact quite a variety (excellent bar man Steve Barrett!!) P.S dont forget to replace the Q in the scrabble. Mr & Mrs Ward Room 16 All very comfortable generally, a few more glass tumblers would be very useful. A bit of information about the event happening in the village would also be nice for guests not very familiar to the area. Thanks for having us again and making us feel, as always very welcome. Staff all so friendly and helpful, courteous and polite at all times but with warmth so often missing elsewhere. Food superb, room comfortable and cosy, nice bathroom. Barman who checked book to find out how to make a Negroni, MaitreD and blonde sommelier. Philippa in the breakfast room who was delightful, but all staff who have made stay special. Mr & Mrs Clarkson Room 3 Our second visit to Seaview and its been delightful. The last time we had the apartment and this time Methuen and standards in rooms on both occasions were excellent. In fact I am going to settle our account and book 7 nights in September, which probably tells you all you need to know. The staff are delightful, excellent food, stunning breakfast, rooms are lovely. We particularly noticed high standards throughout, while at the same time achieving a relaxed and informal atmosphere (so hard to find in the UK). We did try to extend our stay but it being Easter you were fully booked. Thank you for the best of stays. The Chiara Family Rooms 7, 9 and 10 April, 2011 The rooms are very comfortable. The hotel really pampers the guest with small things like cookies, Horlicks etc. very good service, warm and friendly staff at the reception and restaurant. Mr & Mrs Rukshan Room 16 April, 2011 The new suite is fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay, loved the fact that we could take our tray out for tea on the lawn!! The noise of the extractor fan was our only concern, a bit noisy at night. All staff are so very helpful and courteous, happy and funny at times, so good they must need some release at times. Its wonderful to have certain duties preformed for one when life is so very busy. My only negative comment is that on arrival our room was not properly made up. The spare bed for our daughter was not in the room and we had no towels. It was just a communication problem Im sure!!
